Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Agriculture Signs a Cooperation Memorandum with Damascus University to Support Sustainable Agricultural Development

The Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Agriculture signed a joint cooperation memorandum with Damascus University. This step aims to enhance mutual cooperation between academic institutions and the agricultural sector, serving sustainable development and scientific research.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the President of Damascus University, the President and members of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Agriculture, along with several prominent figures from the agricultural sector.

This memorandum seeks to achieve several key objectives, most notably:

Enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise between both sides.
Supporting scientific research and innovation in the agricultural field.
Developing joint projects and initiatives to serve the agricultural sector and society.
Opening horizons for training and qualification for students and agricultural cadres.

The Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Agriculture emphasized that this partnership with Damascus University will effectively contribute to achieving integration between academic knowledge and practical experience, thereby supporting the path of sustainable agricultural development in the country
