Location: DamascusDate: June 6, 2026A joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Agriculture, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Mohammad Jannan, and the Amal for Relief and Development organization, represented by its team: Team Leader Eng. Wisam Khalil Al-Hajji, Eng. Mohammad Al-Ashqar, and Eng. Amani Teryaqi.This collaboration stems from a shared interest and mutual responsibility between both parties to advance rural development. The memorandum focuses on achieving the following core objectives:Supporting the Syrian Farmer: Empowering farmers and developing their productive capacities to face current challenges.Marketing Rural Products: Opening new horizons to promote rural products and economically support productive families.Sponsoring the Fruit Association in Douma: Providing full technical and logistical support and empowerment to the association established by the Amal organization, ensuring the success of its agricultural projects in Eastern Ghouta.At the conclusion of the signing, both sides confirmed that this memorandum represents a swift, practical step toward translating cooperation into field projects that support farmers' stability and contribute to achieving food security and sustainable development
