Mohammad Jannan, Chairman of the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Agriculture, held a meeting with Kieran Lawn, Head of Agriculture and Rural Development Programs at the European Union Delegation to Syria, at the Chamber’s headquarters in Damascus.Key Highlights of the Meeting:Enhancing Joint Cooperation: Discussing mechanisms to support the agricultural sector and empower rural women.Expanding Development Initiatives: Working on initiatives aimed at stimulating agricultural production and boosting food security.Supporting Production Chains: Emphasizing the importance of securing agricultural production inputs and developing effective marketing channels for products.Both parties stressed that the agricultural sector represents one of the main pillars of the national economy and food security in Syria.
