Head of the Syrian Federation of Agricultural Chambers Inspects Poultry Sector and Exports in Hama
Within the framework of monitoring the reality of the agricultural sector on the ground, Engineer Haroon Al-Khattab, Head of the Syrian Federation of Agricultural Chambers, conducted a field tour today in Hama Governorate.
The Head of the Federation commenced his tour by visiting the Hama Chamber of Agriculture, where he held an expanded meeting with the Chamber's board of directors, headed by the Chamber's president and attended by board members. The meeting addressed the reality of the agricultural sector in the governorate, the challenges facing farmers, and ways to advance the poultry sector, in addition to discussing mechanisms for developing agricultural exports and organizing exporters' operations.
Furthermore, the Head of the Federation met with the Chamber's subcommittees, particularly the Poultry Breeders Committee and the Exporters Committee, listening to their demands and proposals regarding market regulation, securing production inputs, and overcoming marketing and export obstacles.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Head of the Federation conducted a field inspection tour that included several poultry farms and agricultural facilities in the governorate. During this tour, he closely observed the workflow and production processes, reaffirming the Federation’s full support for farmers and breeders, and promising to convey their demands to the relevant authorities.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Head of the Federation emphasized the continuation of field tours across all governorates to directly assess farmers' needs and implement practical solutions in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and relevant government entities
