Why do some trees die after planting?

Why do some trees die after planting?

Here are some steps to protect your tree when planting it in sustainable soil:
Choosing the right planting times:
It's best to plant your tree from the fall through February and March.
Dig a large hole:
Make sure the hole's diameter and depth are large enough to allow the roots to spread freely.
Sandy soil:
The soil should be as sandy as possible with open pores, which helps water drain well.
Remove stones and solid objects:
Remove stones and solid objects from the planting site to avoid damaging the roots, which could kill the tree.
Flood the hole:
Flood the hole with water before planting the tree to prevent the tree's roots from drying out when they come into contact with dry soil.
